Our Trip to Outer Banks, NC

We took an end of the summer vacation with 3 other families to the Outer Bank, NC.
On our way down, we stopped by the Baltimore Aquarium.

We rented a 5 bedroom house in Nagshead for the 16 of us.  Here are some shots of our beautiful house.

Each night, one of the families took a turn preparing dinner.
I didn't get shots of all the meals, but boy did we eat wonderfully.

Our first few days were beautiful! Lots of beach and pool time.

One day we all hopped on our bikes and found a spot for lunch
that had a little something for everyone to do!

Yes, all of those bikes belong to our crew!

Unfortunately, the rest of our week was rainy, overcast, or windy.
But we didn't let it get us down, we still found plently to do.

Like drink!
Virgin pina coladas of course!

Brook directed some indoor games...girls only!

And made everyone read her stories from her Princess book!

 Lots of puzzles!
 Snuggle time!
And the best rainy day activity...naps!

Pirate Pete came to visit with a treasure hunt!

We took some adventures around the Island.

Walks on the beach

Daddy organized a game of running bases with everyone...tons of fun!

cheering section!

On our last day, one of our crew celebrated a birthday, so we spent the afternoon at the go-kart fun park!

So much fun!  Can't wait to do it again next year!
