"Mo"vember

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. 

Daddy's Police Dept. decided to participate in Movember (typically no facial hair is allowed) with each officer growing a moustache more unique than the rest! 

However, Mommy and I call it Daddy's "freaky moustache".

Halloween

We had so much fun together at Disney, that we decided to get together again with my cousins from South Carolina for Halloween weekend.  Here's our crew, we have a cheerleader, The Little Mermaid, A stingray, and a "Creeper" from the video game MineCraft.  And then there's me...the monkey!

We were a little worried that no one would understand what the Creeper was, and many didn't, but we ran into several teenage boys who were well-versed in the MineCraft world and recognized him right away and oohed and aahed over his costume.  He was proud!

 

 

Of course we had to take a pit stop at the beach

Grandma sneaks in some chocolate while the kids are busy on the playground :)

but eventually it was time to get back to the candy...

And then we made a pitstop at home for pizza,

and a costume change!

and to bundle up a little

then it was back out for more Halloween fun

and of course, some candy bartering at the end of the day. :)

Thanks for making the trip everyone.  It was my best Halloween EVER! 

Disney, Our Last Day

Snow White came home with us from Disney 

We spent a day recovering at our hotel (the Vistana) after our busy day at the Magic Kingdom

the girls entered a pirate-y boat race at the pool...

and their team won, which meant snow cones for everyone! Yum!

So fun lunching by the pool with family

the Vistana has great pools...

but I think the best part of the day...

was cleaning up afterwards in the whirlpool bathtub :)
