My First Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
First, let me apologize for our little "blog vacation".
After some technical difficulties and many "where are you?" phone calls, e-mails, and comments,
we are back and it's full steam ahead because the
holidays are here and there is fun to be documented...

Thanksgiving morning started with a little breakfast...

Which lead to a bath with my turkey towel!

Then Daddy got out the pot for deep frying the turkey!

Don't deep fry me Daddy!!

Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa's for Thanksgiving dinner

Yummy!

But I was more interested in these!

I got to use the same high chair that Daddy used when he was a baby!

I tried all the food, but didn't think much of it broken into all these little pieces!

So I came up with a better idea...

No, No, No...

Yes, Yes, Yes!  That's more like it!

Whaley and I at the Beach

This is the first time Whaley and I have been on the beach together.
Dogs are only allowed October-May.
He LOVES the beach!

I do too, but I prefer it when it's a little warmer out!

On the Move

I can do it now! I can crawl!

Look at where I start...

I've got my target, watch out Whaley!

Here I come!

I'm getting closer!

Almost there!

What...my target moved. For some reason
Whaley had a very frightened look on his face!
Oh well, I'll just head for Mommy instead.

A shot from behind!

I made it!!

Halloween

We started out Halloween morning by going on a family bike ride to the
neighborhood deli for breakfast sandwiches

After a long nap, it was time to put on my costume.
I was our dog and my best friend, Whaley.

My first house to trick-or-treat at was my favorite neighbor.

Then it was off to show Grandma and Grandpa my costume!

Then we visited some friends...Two Mini Mouses!

Next we went to my Uncle Jim's house.
He loves to decorate for Halloween (it's like his Christmas)!
He made most of these scary guys himself.
Check it out...

Finally, it's time to go trick-or-treating!

I became bored with that and was more interested
in trying to stand up and surf in my wagon!

That didn't go to well so we went back to Jim's house and
Grandpa took me through the haunted maze.

What a day! I had a wonderful time.
Happy Halloween!
