Grandma's Visit (Part 1)

Grandma came to visit from Florida this summer.  We had SO much fun. 

We kicked off her week here with Daddy's birthday celebration!

One of the main reasons we headed to South Carolina was to celebrate my two cousins and uncle's birthday.  My 11 year old cousin is an expert party planner and had planned a pink (her favorite color) themed party mixed with a Florida State football theme for my uncle (his favorite team) mixed with a pig theme for my other cousin (her favorite pet).  Quite a task to tackle! 

This was the day before the party.  There was serious baking going on as my cousin (yes the 11 year old) did her first try at cake pops shaped like footballs and pigs. She also decorated her cake with fondant flowers...she is truly a genius!  Since there were so many people around, we kids did our best at staying out of the kitchen and out of the way with plenty of outside fun farm activities!
