My cousin Kate got married in New Hope, Pennsylvania. It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to! Mommy told me that we were going to see a princess, attend her royal ball, and even stay over night in her castle. So, I had to be on my best princess behavior.
There sure are a lot of rules when you are going to see a princess...
Like no leaning on rocks.
No running over bridges.
Walk carefully down slippery stairs.
Sit still and quiet.
Don't throw rocks into the pond.
Don't hang off fence posts.
Keep your shoes clean...oops!
Keep your dress down.
And don't kiss the pumpkins.
(however, this one seemed to be cute enough for me to get away with!)
Sometimes I feel like Uncle Jim is the only one that understands me!
After I got some practice with all of these princess behaviors,
it was finally time for the ceremony to begin and where I could see, "The Princess"!
These became my dancing buddies later at the ball!
Here she is...isn't she beautiful!
Papa kept me entertained at the dinner table
All of the speeches were lovely
At this point, I was completely exhausted and was going to turn into a pumpkin if Mommy didn't take me back to our room in the castle. What a wonderful night!
The next day was a post-wedding brunch.
Before we left we took one last stroll through the castle grounds...
I made friends with this guy!
And said goodbye to all of my pumpkin friends
And before we left, I finally was brave enough to go up to this BIG guy!
Thank you Kate and Matt for such a beautiful wedding weekend!
Congratulations!
